Rotaract is an international organization of young professionals and students that are committed to service and leadership in their communities and abroad. Rotaract was founded in 1968 by Rotary International.
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.
All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
Rotaract members not only have the opportunity to engage in community and international service projects, but also to develop leadership and professional skills and network with Rotarians, most of whom are seasoned professionals in their fields and hold important positions in their communities. By joining a Rotaract club, you become part of the global Rotaract network, with access to the resources available through Rotary International.
